And so it begins

9:41 Dragon. Orlais is undergoing a civil war, threatening the stability of southern Thedas. The Circle of Magi have rebelled against the oppressive templars in a bid for independence. Divine Justinia V has orchestrated the Divine Conclave – a peace summit between ambassadors from both factions. However, a massive explosion kills the attendants of the Conclave and creates a massive tear in the Veil called the Breach, allowing Demons to invade Thedas unchecked. The Inquisition, an independent organisation, is reborn to restore order. This is the story of its agents.

These are the narrative sessions of a Dragon Age (BioWare videogame) role-playing campaign started at December, 2015. The rules used are the ones provided by Green Ronin’s Dragon Age tabletop role-playing game. Nevertheless, the story background is set at Dragon Age: Inquisition. Starting with Oerik the dwarf, Malan the elf and Keaton the human, the group will change and grow until be formed by six members.

I’m Dazkar, the game master, and I want to thank every single read of my work. Please consider that I’m not a native English speaker, but I’m doing my best to create the most accessible story as possible. Therefore, I’ll also appreciate any feedback or comments on the chapters. This was initially a tool for me to have clarity on the events that happened, and have a record of them. However, it became a hobby and a delicious activity for me, so each time I’m trying to be more delicate with every character and every conversation. Now, I hope to surprise and make my readers enjoy the story as much as we did during the role-playing sessions.

Do you want to know more about the role-playing campaign? Find us in Wattpad ( and follow our Obsidian Portal ( to find detailed information about characters, NPCs, sessions, art, and more!

Thanks for visiting our site, SEE YOU IN THEDAS!!

PD: Special thanks to my friends and players Adri (Oerik), Rodri (Keaton), Mario (Malan, Gerald and Levi), Nacho (Fenrraor) and Fer (Brisa), to make all of this possible and support me with every new session and chapter. Also, thanks to everyone that took time in reading our story. I’d never imagine my work would reach so many people. Thank you.
